75-Year-Old Séxually Assaults 14-Year-Old Neighbour’s Daughter
The Police on Thursday in Lagos arraigned a septuagenarian, Samuel Adesogaat, for allegedly assaulting a neighbour’s 14-year-old daughter sexually.; The 75-year-old, who resides at 11, Ifelodun St., Oworonshoki, Lagos, is being tried for sexual assault at an Ikeja Chief Magistrates’ Court. The prosecutor, Sgt. Raphael Donny told the court that the offence was committed sometime in December 2016 at the accused’s residence. Donny alleged that the accused lured the girl into his room on the pretext of sending her on an errand. “The accused fingered her and told her not to tell anyone. “The accused allegedly called the girl again to his room and was about to carry out the act when one of the neighbours caught him in the act. “The girl admitted to the police that the accused had fingered her before,” he said.
